Our Journey
Home Sweet Home began with a simple mission in 2003 - to help seniors live safely and comfortably in the place they love most: home. What started with one nurse answering calls from local doctors has grown into a trusted, family-run care agency serving families across Northeast Indiana.

Along the way, we’ve remained true to our roots: compassionate care, meaningful connections, and treating every client like family. With over 20 years of experience, our journey continues with every life we touch.

Comfort and Care From Your Home Sweet Home
Discover how we’re making a meaningful impact in the home healthcare industry.
Home Sweet Home began in 2003 when local nurse Jody Hill started connecting seniors with trusted caregivers in Steuben County. As word spread, she built a compassionate team dedicated to helping individuals stay safe and cared for in their own homes.

In 2005, the agency provided its first 24-hour care case for a man with dementia who had no nearby family. That experience helped shape the personalized, dignity-focused care that still defines our mission today.

By 2010, Jody’s daughter Anna joined the growing family business as Office Manager. Together, they earned state licensure and expanded services across the region. What began in Jody’s home has become a trusted name in local care.

As one client once said:
"Those girls have angel wings. They just don’t know it yet."
