Q: What services does Home Sweet Home Healthcare provide?
A: We offer personalized in-home care services including personal care, companionship, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, and specialized care for seniors and individuals with disabilities. We also provide nursing oversight and skilled care as needed.

Q: How do I get started with services?
A: Simply contact us or ask your case manager to send us a referral. We’ll schedule a care consultation to discuss your needs and develop a personalized care plan.

Q: Do you accept Medicaid or other insurance?
A: Yes. We are an approved provider for Indiana Medicaid Waiver programs, including Structured Family Caregiving, Attendant Care (S5125), Homemaker (S5130), and CHOICE. We also work with several Managed Care Entities (MCEs) such as Anthem and UnitedHealthcare.

Q: Can I choose my caregiver?
A: Absolutely. We do our best to match clients with caregivers based on personality, experience level, and scheduling needs. You’ll have the opportunity to meet and approve your caregiver before services begin.

Q: How often can I receive care?
A: Services are based on your approved waiver or Medicaid authorization (NOA). Care may be scheduled from a few hours a week to full-time, depending on your plan.

For Caregivers, Nurses & Job Applicants

Q: What positions are currently available?
A: We’re actively hiring dependable and compassionate staff for a variety of roles including:

  • Personal Care Attendants (PCA)

  • Home Health Aides (HHA)

  • Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

  • Registered Nurses (RNs)

  • Structured Family Caregiving providers

Q: How do I apply?
A: Click the “Apply Now” button at the top of our website to complete our quick application process online. You can also call us directly if you prefer.

Q: Do I need prior experience or certification?
A: Experience is helpful but not always required. We offer paid training and certification opportunities for eligible applicants. Nurses must hold valid, active licensure.

Q: What are the working hours like?
A: We provide care 24/7. While scheduling is flexible, we ask team members to remain open to at least one weekend shift per month. Schedules are finalized during onboarding.

​

Q: When do caregivers and nurses get paid?
A: Staff are paid hourly, with time tracked in our Alora system. We pay through direct deposit. Pay schedules and any applicable bonuses are discussed during orientation.
